Today myself and the usual bunch did the Cambrian Mountaineer charity railtour to Aberystwyth. 50044 failed throughout the day with coolant leaks, which ultimately meant that 37676 worked the train home. There was a failed train in the Wellington area, which meant that 50044 had to continue to Crewe, where we reversed and 37676 took the helm for the return journey via the WCML!

After visiting DRS Crewe Open Day, we decided to visit Crewe and Chester to see whether anything interesting turned up.
Once we reached Chester, 6233 "Dutchess of Sutherland" was waiting to depart on a private charter, so we got 57304 and 390002 back to Crewe.
At Crewe we saw 31's, 47's, 67's and plenty of passenger units.
Nice afternoon- Thanks to the usual bunch!!

47829 in Police Livery, along with 57002 recently aquired from Freightliner were also on Display- Nice meeting the usual gang and some new people!
